You guys would not believe how patient I have been waiting to show off this gallery. This photoshoot went EXACTLY how I imagined, and I could not be happier with the results 💐
Forest Lake Greenhouses has been such a staple in our Florence community for as long as I can remember, and when I was workshopping the idea for this shoot, I immediately knew that would be the ideal location. The staff at Forest Lake were SO kind and welcoming to us. They went out of their way with any opportunity to assist us - one staff member even offered to hold my reflector haha! I have never met more of a genuinely kind staff team, and it was an honor to collaborate with them.
Now onto this STUNNER of a gal, Savannah 💃 We have mutual friends and I knew before even meeting her that she had SUCH a kind soul. Savannah is so radiant and carefree, and she brought alllll the joy to this morning shoot. She definitely trusted the vision with some of these shots hahah and it absolutely paid off!
We started in the covered greenhouse. Every aisle of plants was a different world of flora - it was so difficult to not stop and pose in every single one! But the heat QUICKLY kicked us out haha, so we headed outdoors to catch a little breeze.
The biggest challenges of this shoot: battling the plants' necessary humidity, keeping Savannah's dress clean haha, and being extremely aware of our surroundings the entire time so we didn't interfere with any shoppers' pursuit. (By the way, this should be the most important thing to you when shooting in a public space, especially a place of business: staying as out-of-the-way as possible and not disrupting the location's usual functions.)
