Hey, I'm Mckenzie.

I am a 24 year old photographer living in Florence, South Carolina. I am a 2w3 on the enneagram - basically a mom friend who is ALWAYS gladly willing to lend a hand or a little encouragement. When I’m not behind the camera, you can catch me with a can of Diet Coke in hand, either at a local Mexican restaurant or at home playing the NYT games. Photography to me is the ideal blend of structure and creative freedom, working independently but constantly meeting someone new, finding beauty everywhere and nitpicking to perfection in post-production.
What is it like to work with me?
There are three key items that I prioritize when running my business:
- Inclusion. Everyone is welcome here, regardless of gender identity, sexuality, race, appearance, religious background or socioeconomic status. It is extremely important to me that my clients feel completely free to be true to themselves around me and in front of my camera.
- Authenticity. My editing style is simple: the most natural is the most beautiful. My favorite shots are always the most candid connections, the most genuine smiles, the most raw, in-the-moment love.
- Connection. At the core of what I do, it’s all about the people. One of the most important parts of being a photographer, in my opinion, is not just knowing my clients, but understanding my clients. Eric Floberg summed this up best: your session is not about how I can get the most Instagram likes from these pictures - it is preserving your memories, celebrating your love, building your confidence, and highlighting the beauty of your story.
If you are reading this and thinking "man, I would be GREAT friends with her", I would love to work with you! Let’s create something beautiful together.
